Launching in May 2021, SouthCoast Spring Arts is a celebration of the place and presence of the arts in our communities. Local arts organizations are presenting innovative, creative, affordable and participatory art and cultural events in communities across the South Coast region from Fall River to Wareham.
The inspiration for this undertaking was to continue in the spirit of ArtWeek MA, a statewide creative festival for all, presented by Highland Street Foundation and produced by the Boch Center.
For businesses and patrons who are interested in financially supporting this effort for arts, culture and collaboration across the South Coast, sponsorships are available. Contact Jennifer Wolfe Webb at firstname.lastname@example.org for sponsorships.
Event listings will be accepted from January 1 through March 31, 2021. There is no financial contribution necessary to participate in SouthCoast Spring Arts. Click here to apply
We are reaching out to community partners with an invitation to join us. Given the potential constraints imposed by the pandemic this spring, we are encouraging hybrid events (virtual/in-person) to accommodate a variety of situations. The recent programming of Virtual AHA! New Bedford and the Fall River Fabric Arts Festival are shining examples of this.
By coming together in SouthCoast Spring Arts, community partners will be able to promote their relevant programming through this website. Yet, each organization will be responsible for their own events.
